Raven and Jeff's Cold Dollywood eSession

We met one of our '09 couples, Raven and Jeff, at Dollywood recently for a spin on the classic engagement session. To us, an eSession should be more like a double date, where we go off and have a good time and capture the couple being themselves. And that's exactly what we did with Raven and Jeff. Of course, we have to have a few poses in there for good measure.

So here are a few of my favorites from our chilly trip to Pigeon Forge:

It was fun finding little spots off the beaten path, like this old truck.

There was a little autumn color left.


It was a close race for sure, but I think Raven won.




I didn't have the heart to tell them they were mixed up.




It took us 10 minutes to figure out which car I needed to be in to get the best angle on the Ferris Wheel. I thought I had it figured out and then I messed up. Luckily. If I had let them get on first, I wouldn't have been able to see them for most of the ride.




It started getting really cold and really dark, so we reverted to posed mode.


But check out that sky!


And check out that car! Eh, it'd be more impressive if it were a) driveable b) fully restored and c) in my driveway.


I think Jeff was able to talk Raven into riding more rides after we went our separate ways. I hope they're not still there, frozen to the Mystery Mine!

ps: I almost forgot this one... I saved it for last because I didn't want to detract from Raven and Jeff's session. But you know I can't go all the way to Dollywood and not ride at least one ride with them.
